Tanda Cook, ND

Food Expert. Health Coach. Sustainable Farmer.

Tanda Cook, is a naturopathic physician, food expert, published author, international speaker, blogger, as well as a health and lifestyle coach. She is wildly passionate about educating and inspiring people to take steps to add health to their lives.  Dr. Cook has a gift for explaining confusing medical terminology and concepts in clearly understood terms – empowering her audiences to celebrate healthy living through food, lifestyle and choice. She received her undergraduate degree from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York and then went on to receive her doctorate from the National College of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon.

After moving to Bozeman, Montana Dr. Cook discovered her true passion is connecting people to the earth, food, and their purpose through farming, sustainable agriculture, and natural medicine.  Today, clients from all over North America seek her out for counseling and retreats to experience the earth and their health in a transformed way.  Dr. Cook has been traveling and speaking internationally over the past three years teaching on the subjects of health, food, nutrition, entrepreneurialism, and finding the life you love.  Her presentations are fun, energetic, engaging, humorous and educational.

Her co-authored cookbook, Food That Grows, explores the importance of eating whole foods, the current issues with how Westerners eat, and the stories and celebrations around the very thing that keeps us alive…food.  Look for her Retreats and Workshops here at Indigo Trails and check out her very informative blog at drtandacook.com.

Rie Butler

Compassion Advocate. Equine Gestalt Coach. Equus Light Worker.

Rie Butler is a huge advocate for self compassion as she knows through personal experience that once you find and nurture it only then can you begin to heal on all levels. Her experience includes working with an accredited program in Equine-Facilitated Psychotherapy and Learning, and having spent many hours with this therapy herd of horses, she has developed a belief that horses have much to teach us and have a profound capacity to heal the human heart.  It is a strong felt belief that her Spiritual guides have led her on this path to do this transformative work. A mission where she can honor and partner with horses as being the true gift to her clients. She has been blessed to have many horses impact her life over the years and currently owns a colt that has touched her heart – a horse she knows is willing and capable of helping her clients to achieve an inner peace and establish true self compassion.

Rie is a graduate of The Touched By a Horse® Equine Gestalt Coaching Method® Certification Program.  She operates her retreats out of several beautiful farms across the United States to implement her work with women who are wanting to remove their blocks and negative inner chatter so that they too can move forward in their own lives of purpose.

Additionally, Rie is an avid Yogi. She received her 200 hour Yoga Teacher certification in 2011 and often incorporates a gentle yoga practice in her retreats. Indigo Trails is proud to be one of her locations.  Look for her Retreats and Workshops here at Indigo Trails under the Upcoming Events section and check out her website at horseandlotus.com.
